On the roof of the parking garage Ravel at the sports park 'Goed Genoeg' one of the five new artificial grass pitches of the AFC Amsterdam is created. Based on the expected surface load and the limited drainage options, Royal HaskoningDHV, together with the municipality of Amsterdam and Van der Werff Infra, decided in favor of the ND 900hd Drainage System.
The ND 900hd Drainage System is installed on top of the water proofing membrane. After that, a layer of lava 2/8 (about 150 mm high) is placed on top of the drainage system. The third layer consists of shock pads made of foam (from Schmitz Foam Products). Royal HaskoningDHV artificial grass was installed as the final layer.
The surface area of this project is approximately 8,600 m². Below you can see the complete composition:
